Tough Day

Hi everyone.
Worked out at the gym for awhile today. Wow! talk about sweating. My husband and I have been going to the YMCA now for almost 3 months and we really like it. I burn off a lot of calories on that treadmill!
I can't seem to get started on either of my rough drafts due in 2 weeks. I have the research done but just can't seem to get the first sentence started for some reason. If I could just get started I think I would be on a roll. I really need to get started REAL SOON. Time is running out that is for sure.
My daughter called me today and a pap smear came back positive for severe cervical cancer (she is 3 months pregnant). I told her not to panic yet and wait until the doctor performs the biopsy so we know more. Just the word "cancer" scares everyone so she called me in tears. We are going to stay positive.
I guess I will go for this weeks post. Talk to you all again next week!

  1. Linda,
Definitely try to stay with positive thinking with your daughters health. There are so many things that can be done with all the new medical advances that have been made. I still will have my fingers and toes crossed though. Maybe for one of your papers, it could be about cervical cancer. This way you can find out more about this cancer for class as well as you and your daughter. I know I have problem too of just not being about to get that first sentence. As soon as I do the flood gates open up and the paper starts to take shape.

  2. Thank you Holli for your thoughtful post. Unfortunately my topics have already been chosen. I have been trying to do some research on this however when I am able to find a spare second which is not that often :-( I have found that it can usually be taken care of with a hysterectomy as long as it hasn't progressed too severely.
As far as my papers, I am finally getting things in order and should hopefully be able to take my pen to paper (so to speak, lol) by tomorrow. Not too bad I guess.
